All Massachusetts voters can vote by mail in 2020 but with the U.S. Postal Service reduction plan, some may be worried that their vote will not be counted if they choose to vote by mail.

To help alleviate that fear a system is available to track your ballot once it has been cast and mailed. Officials continue to encourage voters to vote early if they are going to vote by mail as it’s still possible votes won’t be counted if they are mailed too late.

We are 1 week away from one of the most contentious election cycles observed in my lifetime. With all the rhetoric concerning potential election ballot fraud, mail in ballots vs voting in person, how can one verify that their ballot was indeed received?
With millions of voters taking advantage of absentee and mail-in ballots as well as an early voting period we all want to know that our votes were processed.
Here in Massachusetts, there’s now an easy way to check if YOUR ballot has been received and accepted to be counted. Go to the Track My Ballot website sponsored by secretary of state, William Galvin.

The form is simple and only requires your name and registered voting address to view the results. You won’t be able to see the actual votes you’ve cast but you can verify that your ballot was received and accepted to be counted.
