Don’t choose convenience over security! If your computer gets hacked, the CyberCriminal has access to any website that has a saved password, including Amazon, your bank account, any other online retailer as well as critical data sites.
Many browsers will save your passwords automatically. In Chrome and Edge, you can go into Settings and see which passwords have been saved (and delete them). Then turn off Auto Fill. Chrome also has a link to your Google stored passwords.
In Safari, go to Preferences, Click the Passwords tab at the top of the window, and enter your Mac’s password. Click on an item to view the password, double-click the password (or user name) to edit.
